These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the INKTRΛIL application, website and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By creating an account or using INKTRΛIL, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the Platform.
INKTRΛIL is a platform designed to help travelers discover tattoo artists and tattoo studios based on location, artistic style and other information provided through the Platform.
INKTRΛIL facilitates connections between travelers, tattoo artists and studios. INKTRΛIL does not provide tattooing services itself and is not a tattoo studio, tattoo artist, medical provider, booking agency or employer of the artists listed on the Platform.
Any tattooing service is provided directly by the relevant artist or studio.
INKTRΛIL does not guarantee the quality, artistic result, price, availability or outcome of any tattooing service.
Users are responsible for making their own decisions and communicating directly with artists or studios before booking or receiving a tattoo.
INKTRΛIL may offer different types of accounts, including:
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity occurring through your account.
You must not create an account using another person's identity or provide misleading information about yourself, your professional activities or your relationship with a studio.
INKTRΛIL reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts containing false, misleading, fraudulent or abusive information.
Artists and studios may create profiles containing information such as:
Artists and studios are solely responsible for ensuring that the information contained in their profiles is accurate and up to date.
INKTRΛIL may review, edit, reject, suspend or remove information that is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, inappropriate or inconsistent with these Terms.
Users, artists and studios may upload or submit content to the Platform, including photographs, portfolio images, descriptions, biographies and other materials ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content to INKTRΛIL, you grant INKTRΛIL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, distribute and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve the Platform.
This license does not transfer ownership of your content to INKTRΛIL.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and authorize INKTRΛIL to use the content you submit.
You must not upload content that:
INKTRΛIL may remove or restrict User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
INKTRΛIL may offer a certification process for tattoo artists and studios.
The INKTRΛIL Certified badge indicates that the INKTRΛIL team has carried out a verification visit or review focused on matters such as hygiene, safety, professional conduct and the general professional conditions observed at the time of verification.
The certification process is not intended to evaluate or rank an artist's artistic style or artistic talent.
Certification does not constitute:
INKTRΛIL may suspend, review or remove a certification if relevant circumstances change or if information provided during the certification process is found to be inaccurate.
INKTRΛIL may allow members to contact artists or studios through external services such as Instagram or WhatsApp.
INKTRΛIL is not responsible for communications, agreements, payments or interactions taking place outside the Platform.
Users should independently confirm prices, designs, availability, location, deposits, cancellation policies and any other relevant conditions directly with the artist or studio.
All tattoo services are provided directly by independent artists or studios.
INKTRΛIL does not employ or control artists listed on the Platform unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Users are responsible for assessing whether they are comfortable receiving a tattoo from a particular artist or studio.
Artists and studios are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, health and safety requirements, professional regulations and licensing requirements applicable to their activities.
INKTRΛIL does not provide medical advice.
Where the Platform allows users to submit reviews, ratings or feedback, such content must reflect the user's genuine experience.
Users must not submit fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening or deliberately misleading reviews.
INKTRΛIL may remove reviews that violate these Terms or applicable law.
INKTRΛIL may introduce paid features or subscription plans for artists, studios or other users.
If paid services are introduced, the applicable pricing, billing period, renewal conditions and cancellation terms will be clearly presented before purchase.
INKTRΛIL may offer different subscription levels, including free and paid plans.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, INKTRΛIL does not take a commission on the price of a tattoo solely because a customer discovered an artist through the Platform.
Any future booking, deposit or payment functionality will be subject to additional terms presented to the relevant users before the transaction takes place.
INKTRΛIL may in the future provide tools allowing artists and studios to manage availability, appointments and deposits.
Where such functionality is introduced, the applicable booking and payment conditions will be communicated to users before they complete a transaction.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, INKTRΛIL acts as a technology platform facilitating the booking process and does not itself provide tattooing services.
The INKTRΛIL name, logo, visual identity, application, website, software, design, text and original platform materials are owned by or licensed to INKTRΛIL and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit INKTRΛIL's proprietary materials without prior written authorization.
This does not affect the ownership rights of artists or users over their own User Content.
INKTRΛIL may integrate or link to third-party services, including Instagram, WhatsApp, payment providers, analytics services, hosting providers or other external platforms.
INKTRΛIL does not control these third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, policies, content or practices.
Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.
You agree not to use INKTRΛIL to:
INKTRΛIL may suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect users, the Platform or third parties.
INKTRΛIL may provide tools allowing users to report inappropriate content or accounts.
Reports may be reviewed by INKTRΛIL and may result in content removal, account restrictions, suspension or other appropriate action.
Users may also contact INKTRΛIL regarding safety, abuse, intellectual property or other concerns.
You may stop using INKTRΛIL at any time and may request deletion of your account, subject to applicable legal and contractual obligations.
INKTRΛIL may suspend or terminate an account if:
Termination does not automatically eliminate obligations that arose before termination.
INKTRΛIL provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Where required by law, users will be notified of material changes.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable to you.
Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of France, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
